LOAN PERIOD

Each student may have up to three items checked out.  The due date is two weeks from the day that the book is checked out.  Books may be renewed.

OVERDUES/FINES

If you fail to return a book by the due date, your name will be on an overdue list given to your Language Arts teacher.  Fines will accumulate until materials are checked in.  If you have an outstanding obligation, you may use books only in the media center.  To participate in special team activities and field trips, all obligations must be cleared. Fines are 5 cents a school day.

REFERENCE BOOKS

These may be checked out at the end of the day, and must be returned by 9:00 a.m. the following school morning. Reference book fines are 25 cents per school day.

MAGAZINES

Magazines must be read in the media center and will not be checked out.

You may ask the Media Staff to reserve items currently not available.

You will be notified when the item is ready for your check out through your Language Arts teacher.
